Elias had been the sidekick for three years.

He was fast, clever, and completely in love with his hero.

Marcus — known to the public as Titan — was everything a hero should be. Strong. Noble. Selfless. He saved lives, stopped disasters, and always did the right thing.

And he had no idea that his sidekick was completely, hopelessly in love with him.

Elias had tried to hide it. He really had. But every late-night patrol, every quiet moment in the headquarters, every time Marcus smiled at him like he was something precious — it got harder.

One night, after a brutal fight with a gang, they returned to headquarters covered in bruises and exhaustion.

Marcus was in the medical bay, shirt off, letting Elias patch up a cut on his side.

“You did good tonight,” Marcus said quietly.

Elias’s hands stilled.

“I didn’t do anything special.”

Marcus looked at him.

“You always do something special.”

Before Elias could respond, Marcus reached out and touched his face.

“I’ve been trying not to do this,” Marcus said. “You’re my sidekick. It’s complicated. But I can’t keep pretending I don’t want you.”

Elias’s heart was pounding.

“Marcus—”

Marcus kissed him.

It was slow at first — careful, almost hesitant. Then Elias made a desperate sound and kissed him back, and Marcus’s control snapped.

He lifted Elias onto the medical table and kissed him harder, hands roaming possessively. Elias wrapped his legs around Marcus’s waist and pulled him closer.

They didn’t make it to a bed.

Marcus bent Elias over the table and fucked him right there in the medical bay — deep, desperate, and completely overwhelming. Every thrust was rough and possessive, like Marcus was trying to claim every part of him.

“You’re mine,” Marcus growled against his ear. “Not just as my sidekick. As mine.”

Elias could only moan in response, completely lost in the feeling of being claimed by the man he had loved for years.

When they finally came — together, shaking and gasping — Marcus gathered Elias into his arms and held him close.

“I love you,” Marcus whispered. “I’ve loved you for a long time.”

Elias closed his eyes and rested his head against Marcus’s chest.

“I love you too,” he whispered back.

Marcus kissed the top of his head.

“Good,” he murmured. “Because I’m never letting you go.”

And for the first time in three years, Elias didn’t feel like a sidekick anymore.

He felt like he belonged.
